My team in Intel Sports Pathfinding had been working on creating immersive, multi-frame volumetric video experiences in 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF).
I led a multi-year exploration in how these experiences using Intel TrueView data can add value to the way teams coach, train, and keep their players safe.

My team in Intel Sports Pathfinding had been working on creating immersive, multi-frame volumetric video experiences in 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF).
I led a multi-year exploration in how these experiences using Intel TrueView data can add value to the way teams coach, train, and keep their players safe.
I began with producing a vision video and showing to NFL teams, coaches and coordinators at the 2019 NFL Combine.
And continued by researching and observing how coaches coach players, their workflow and the tools they use while defining coaching and officiating use-cases.
I designed and led a team to produce several POCs (proof of concepts,) testing, iterating and refining the concepts and creating immersive coaching demos.
I presented this body of work to NFL and Intel executives, including NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, resulting in a multi-year contract between the NFL and Intel to continue developing the technology.
